![]() So many people out there want to "just wed". You know, take the plunge, get hitched, tie the knot, and then go party. In rural areas it can be so much harder for couples to access services like registry office weddings (there is no registry office west of Sydney), and courthouse weddings, which force them to just wed in a limited timeframe on a set day of the week, generally. Invariably, enquiries to the state registering authority may result in you not being told of your options in regional areas, which may include courthouse civil weddings, religious weddings in a church or other place of worship, or civil weddings with a celebrant. That's pretty bad, when you think about it. But Just Wed came to be because such advice was being given to couples in the Dubbo area, and not a lot of help. The year 2022 was crucial to our pivot to focus on these types of weddings from 2023, because several couples just wanted to get married and couldn't because the type of service they were after couldn't be provided locally. In supporting these couples with our civil ceremony services , they have been able to marry in their own chosen location at a time of their choosing, and with inclusions not normally found in registry office or courthouse weddings. In 2024 we had a cracker of a year and 2025 is shaping up to be even better. We already have 11 bookings for this year - and it's only January. Thank you to all of our wonderful clients who have gone down the Just Wed path. It has been a privilege and honour to help you marry in the way that you wish.
